Job Summary of Facility Cleaning Technician:

You are responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the warehouse and office areas, ensuring that all areas are properly cleaned, organized, and ready for daily operations. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to handle cleaning equipment and chemicals safely while also performing minor maintenance tasks as needed.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Facility Cleaning Technician:

• Make sure the floors remain clean by regularly engaging in sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Collect and dispose of rubbish, combining it for the weekly pickup service.
• Ensure cleanliness and servicing of restrooms are done on a frequent basis.
• Preserve a neat environment by cleaning walls, racks, and equipment regularly.
• Combine specified amounts of water, detergents, or acids to make cleaning solutions.
• Employ specialized cleaning equipment for the renewal of indoor environments in architectural structures.
• Use solvents, brushes, towels, and mechanical cleaning devices to sanitize and remove dirt from different types of surfaces.
• Adhere to correct cleaning and safety protocols to avoid harming floors and fixtures.
• Maintain building security and safety protocols by locking doors outside of designated operating times.
• Move furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed, including using hand trucks.
• Notify managers promptly about any significant system faults or repair work that needs immediate attention.
• Clear snow from pathways, driveways, and parking spaces using snow blowers or shovels.
• Prepare, position, and dismantle decorations, seating, tables, and other event components accordingly.
• Proficient operation of a Rider Jack requires experience or eligibility for certification.

Qualifications and Experience of Facility Cleaning Technician:

• - Applicants must meet the criteria of possessing either a high school diploma or GED, or having acquired 1-3 months of relevant experience and training, or a comparable mix of education and practical skills.
