Job Summary of Warehouse Packing Specialist:

It is your duty to engage in varied warehouse tasks, which include selecting, packaging, organizing, delivering, receiving, and managing inventory levels. This position is focused on ensuring the accurate and proficient processing of orders while adhering to safety guidelines and quality measures.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Warehouse Packing Specialist:

• Examine production itineraries, client orders, or shipment requests to identify crucial inventory relocations.
• Relocate materials and products from production or receiving zones to designated storage facilities.
• Categorize and segregate merchandise according to SKU, quantity, and category.
• Perform the safe and efficient operation of electric pallet jacks and stand-up forklifts.
• Facilitate clear communication channels with recipients, drivers, check-in team members, and forklift operators.
• Adhere to safety guidelines for the loading and unloading processes of trucks and trailers.
• Responsibly manage all company-issued gear, including protective equipment and voice-enabled devices.
• Be sure to promptly communicate any safety concerns you notice at work.
• Adhere to the mandatory dress code by wearing the uniform provided by the company.
• Collect items requested by customers and get them ready for shipping.
• Mark pallets with specified identifying information.
• Loosen wraps, crates, and storage units as necessary.
• Record in detail all materials received and distributed.

Qualifications and Experience of Warehouse Packing Specialist:

• Prospective candidates are expected to have a high school diploma or GED certification.
• Candidates are required to have one to three months of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of educational background and hands-on experience.
• Knowledge of warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts, is a beneficial attribute for applicants.
