Job Summary of Receiving Specialist:

Your tasks will involve aiding in warehouse operations through activities like order picking, package preparation, product assembly, inventory sorting, shipping, and order receiving. This role is vital for fulfilling the productivity and quality goals of the establishment while ensuring effective operations in a dynamic environment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Receiving Specialist:

• Examine production schedules, client orders, work instructions, shipping requests, or requisition forms to determine the specific items slated for relocation or gathering.
• Transport materials and items from receiving or manufacturing areas to allocated storage spaces.
• Organize and segregate products based on their SKU numbers, quantities, and categories.
• Use an electric pallet jack and stand-up forklift for the necessary transportation of goods.
• Ensure safety by wearing a harness when ascending to 25 feet on a cherry picker.
• Develop strong communication strategies to engage with receivers, drivers, and forklift operators effectively.
• Uphold safety standards when engaging in truck and trailer towing activities.
• Store and categorize products in designated warehouse spots.
• Take care of company-provided gear, such as PPE and voice communication tools.
• Bring to light any safety issues present in the workplace.
• It is essential to wear the official uniform provided by the company as per regulations.
• Select items from storage to pack and send out customer requests.
• Mark the pallets with relevant details and open containers where required for labeling purposes.

Qualifications and Experience of Receiving Specialist:

• - Eligibility for the role requires either a high school diploma, GED, or a brief period of relevant experience or training.
• Skillful in operating both an electric pallet jack and vertical forklift.
• Proficient in ascending to a height of 25 feet on a cherry picker, utilizing a safety harness for protection.
• Excellent abilities in both communicating effectively and working collaboratively.
• Ability to function effectively amidst the intensity of a swift and physically challenging workplace.

Salary:
