Job Summary:

We are looking for reliable and organized individuals available to deliver mail in various communities. Responsibilities:

• Deliver and collect mail safely and on time.
• Provide courteous and professional customer service when interacting with clients.
• Sort and organize mail for delivery routes.
• Maintain accurate knowledge of local infrastructure, including roads, clients, and mail receptacles.
• Ensure the security and confidentiality of all mail in possession.
• Handle Canada Post products and services, such as address changes, damaged mail, and delivered invoices.
• Wear and display Canada Post identification while delivering and collecting mail.
• Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs (22.7 kg).
• Drive in various weather and traffic conditions to complete deliveries.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid provincial driver's license (Class 5 or G).
• Safe driving record.
• Ability to operate a personal vehicle meeting Canada Post requirements, including an automatic transmission, power windows, a metal roof, and an additional power outlet.
• Minimum cargo space of 50 cubic feet (1,415 liters).
• Preferred: A fifth door or tailgate for loading oversized items.
• Ability to maintain the required vehicle insurance and notify the insurance provider of vehicle use for Canada Post employment.
