Specialist / Senior Technicians

Job Summary:

Founded in 1985, ATS specializes in industrial maintenance, optimizing factory operations. This role involves performing expert-level maintenance, troubleshooting complex systems, and ensuring operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Perform expert-level break-fix preventive maintenance and design mechanical and electrical equipment improvements.
• Provide troubleshooting support for equipment and production lines.
• Maintain in-depth technical knowledge of various systems.
• Research and execute specialized technical procedures.
• Program, troubleshoot, and analyze control systems to resolve software and hardware issues.
• Utilize predictive maintenance tools such as infrared thermography, ultrasonic testing, and vibration analysis.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives, cost-saving strategies, and process optimizations.
• Identify and source repair parts while suggesting engineered solutions to improve reliability.
• Follow industry-standard maintenance practices.
• Ensure compliance with 5S and housekeeping standards.
• Operate machining tools such as lathes, drill presses, and grinders; may also perform welding tasks.
• Investigate and document technical innovations to improve maintenance processes.
• Analyze cost data for equipment proposals, repairs, and new solutions.
• Maintain CMMS records and analyze historical maintenance data.
• Provide technical content for sales quotations and support technical meetings as needed.
• Train and mentor less experienced technicians.
• Manage assigned projects and support team development.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures while maintaining situational awareness of hazards.

Qualifications and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Associate’s degree in a technical field and three years of industry-related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency in predictive maintenance technologies such as vibration analysis and laser interferometry.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, fluid power, and control systems.
• Ability to analyze problems, identify solutions, and perform complex repairs.
• Skilled in the use of hand and specialized tools.
• May require travel.
• Six Sigma experience preferred.
