Job Summary of Sales Account Manager:
Your involvement in our swiftly growing company is pivotal as you will be responsible for creating sales revenue through the acquisition of new business and the enhancement of sales with existing accounts. You will be engaged in selling top-tier products to a variety of establishments like restaurants, caterers, hotels, and retail locations. Serving as the face of the organization, your focus will be on building and sustaining strong customer relationships, operating within a compensation structure that includes both a base salary and commissions.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Sales Account Manager:
- Cultivate and nurture increased sales through both new customer acquisition and current client retention.
- Develop registers of potential clientele by tapping into a range of outlets for identifying leads.
- Travel within the specified territory to secure orders from both existing and prospective customers.
- Display and showcase goods by presenting samples or promotional literature, stressing the appealing aspects that make them desirable to customers.
- Quote costs, specify credit terms, and formalize sales arrangements.
- Forecast the delivery schedules by considering the company’s production and transportation timelines.
- Produce reports related to business transactions and upkeep expense accounts with latest data.
- Maintain the currency of account activities through cooperation with internal sales representatives.
- Monitor inventory levels and supervise customer order monitoring.
- Enter customer information and sales data accurately into the database.
- Establish and retain connections with purchasing contacts.
Qualifications and Experience of Sales Account Manager:
- Ideal candidates will possess 1-2 years of relevant sales experience.
- A strong preference is given to candidates with a history of working in restaurants, food sales, professional catering, or as a Chef.
- Energetic, upbeat attitude, and skilled at working within a team.
- Displaying the aptitude to encourage a supportive atmosphere and exceed set benchmarks to meet objectives.
- Strong organizational prowess coupled with the skill to oversee multiple projects effectively.
- Competent in communicating clearly both orally and in writing.
- Initiative-taking individual who excels at absorbing new knowledge promptly and thriving in high-pressure situations.
- Possession of a college degree is advantageous but not essential.
- Must be a resident in the designated area for sales operations.
