Power Generation Electrician

Job Summary:

Oversees the procurement of quality and non-quality related goods and services at Diablo Canyon and Humboldt Bay Power Plants. Leads cross-functional teams to define quality and technical requirements for materials and services.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely material procurement for projects, outages, and client schedules.
• Maintain compliance with nuclear quality assurance requirements (10 CFR 50 Appendix B).
• Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and material quality.
• Review defective materials with inspectors and engineers to prevent future issues.
• Monitor assigned tasks to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies.
• Identify cost savings, supplier consolidation, and efficiency opportunities.
• Collaborate with business units to develop strategic supply chain plans.

Qualifications and Experience:

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 5 years of experience in procurement or contract writing.

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Experience in nuclear supply chain or engineering.
• Proficiency in SAP.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Salary:

• Minimum: $120,000
• Maximum: $190,000
