Job Summary of Warehouse Freight Associate:
It is your duty to engage in varied warehouse tasks, which include selecting, packaging, organizing, delivering, receiving, and managing inventory levels. This position is focused on ensuring the accurate and proficient processing of orders while adhering to safety guidelines and quality measures.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Warehouse Freight Associate:
- Assess manufacturing timetables, customer requirements, or shipping specifications to establish necessary stock transfers.
- Relocate materials and products from production or receiving zones to designated storage facilities.
- Organize and sort products based on SKU, quantity, and classification.
- Maintain safety and efficiency while operating electric pallet jacks and stand-up forklifts.
- Establish effective communication methods with recipients, drivers, check-in staff, and forklift operators.
- Uphold safety regulations for truck and trailer loading and unloading procedures.
- Treat all equipment provided by the company responsibly, including PPE and voice-operated tools.
- Timely reporting of safety concerns in the workplace is crucial.
- It is mandatory to be attired in the uniform supplied by the company.
- Put in order customer orders and make them ready for dispatch.
- Adhere to instructions by labeling pallets with appropriate details.
- Release wrappings, containers, and holders as required.
- Document all materials received and distributed with accuracy.
Qualifications and Experience of Warehouse Freight Associate:
- This position mandates a high school diploma or GED for all applicants.
- For consideration, applicants should have one to three months of relevant experience and/or training, or a matching combination of academic and practical exposure.
- Candidates who are experienced in using warehouse equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts will be given preference.
