Job Summary of Packing and Shipping Associate:

Your role will include providing support in warehouse functions by performing tasks such as selecting items, packaging orders, assembling products, organizing inventory, shipping items, and receiving deliveries. This position is essential in meeting the productivity and quality goals of the facility while ensuring efficient operations in a high-paced environment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Packing and Shipping Associate:

• Scrutinize manufacturing timetables, client orders, work directives, shipping instructions, or requisition documents to ascertain the items designated for gathering or relocation.
• Convey materials and objects from receiving or production spaces to designated storage places.
• Classify and group products by SKU, quantity, and product classification.
• Move products as instructed using both an electric pallet jack and a stand-up forklift.
• Travel vertically up to 25 feet on a cherry picker with the aid of a safety harness.
• Effectively relay messages to individuals responsible for receiving items, transporting goods, and operating forklifts.
• Implement safety measures when conducting truck and trailer hauling tasks.
• Store and categorize products in designated warehouse spots.
• Ensure proper handling of equipment provided by the company, like PPE and voice communication tools.
• Raise awareness about safety hazards in the work environment.
• Employees are expected to be in the company-approved uniform as part of the job requirements.
• Compile and package customer orders using the items available in stock for shipment.
• Implement markings for identification on both pallets and open containers as necessary.

Qualifications and Experience of Packing and Shipping Associate:

• - Eligibility for the role requires either a high school diploma, GED, or a brief period of relevant experience or training.
• Proficient in the operation of an electric pallet jack and standing forklift.
• Experienced in safely maneuvering a cherry picker to reach a height of 25 feet, secured in a safety harness.
• Demonstrates adeptness in communication and teamwork.
• Proficiency in handling the demands of a fast-paced and physically laborious setting.

Salary:
