Job Summary:
Founded in 1985, ATS specializes in industrial maintenance, optimizing factory operations.
Responsibilities:
- Performs mid to expert-level break-fix and preventative maintenance, including troubleshooting, repairing, and reconditioning machine tools.
- Identifies and sources parts, supplies, and repair items as necessary.
- Independently performs maintenance according to industry standards.
- Operates machining tools such as lathe, drill press, and grinder; may perform welding tasks.
- Complies with 5S and housekeeping standards.
- Drives and participates in continuous improvement activities, optimizing processes and cost savings.
- Updates maintenance records and reviews CMMS history.
- Troubleshoots and analyzes control systems to resolve software, hardware, and configuration issues.
- Utilizes predictive maintenance technologies to collect equipment performance data.
- Provides guidance to lower-level technicians and leads small teams.
- Completes on-the-job and self-study training programs for career development.
- Adheres to all safety policies and identifies unsafe behaviors and conditions.
Qualifications and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Associate degree with a technical focus and three years of industry experience, or five years of related experience, or successful completion of the ATS Technician Progression Program.
- Understanding of electrical, mechanical, fluid power, and control systems, with the ability to analyze and perform repairs.
- Proficiency with basic and specialized hand tools as appropriate.
- May be required to travel.
