Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:

Founded in 1985, ATS specializes in industrial maintenance, optimizing factory operations.

Responsibilities:

• Performs mid to expert-level break-fix and preventative maintenance, including troubleshooting, repairing, and reconditioning machine tools.
• Identifies and sources parts, supplies, and repair items as necessary.
• Independently performs maintenance according to industry standards.
• Operates machining tools such as lathe, drill press, and grinder; may perform welding tasks.
• Complies with 5S and housekeeping standards.
• Drives and participates in continuous improvement activities, optimizing processes and cost savings.
• Updates maintenance records and reviews CMMS history.
• Troubleshoots and analyzes control systems to resolve software, hardware, and configuration issues.
• Utilizes predictive maintenance technologies to collect equipment performance data.
• Provides guidance to lower-level technicians and leads small teams.
• Completes on-the-job and self-study training programs for career development.
• Adheres to all safety policies and identifies unsafe behaviors and conditions.

Qualifications and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Associate degree with a technical focus and three years of industry experience, or five years of related experience, or successful completion of the ATS Technician Progression Program.
• Understanding of electrical, mechanical, fluid power, and control systems, with the ability to analyze and perform repairs.
• Proficiency with basic and specialized hand tools as appropriate.
• May be required to travel.
