Job Summary of Sales Associate:

You will be a key player in our rapidly growing organization, responsible for generating sales revenue by cultivating new business and enhancing sales with existing accounts. This role involves selling high-quality products to restaurants, caterers, hotels, and retail establishments. You will act as the face of the company by building and maintaining strong customer relationships, while working in a base salary + commission structure.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Sales Associate:

• Develop and grow new sales, while increasing sales with existing customers.
• Compile lists of prospective customers using various sources.
• Travel throughout the assigned territory to secure orders from regular and prospective customers.
• Display and demonstrate products using samples or catalogs, emphasizing saleable features.
• Quote prices, credit terms, and prepare sales contracts.
• Estimate delivery dates based on the firm’s production and delivery schedules.
• Prepare business transaction reports and maintain updated expense accounts.
• Collaborate with inside sales representatives to keep account activities up to date.
• Track stock levels and monitor customer orders.
• Enter customer and sales data into the company database.
• Develop and maintain relationships with purchasing contacts.

Qualifications and Experience of Sales Associate:

• 1-2 years of relevant sales experience preferred.
• Experience in restaurant, food sales, professional catering, or working as a Chef is highly desirable.
• High energy, positive attitude, and a strong team player.
• Ability to foster a positive atmosphere and work beyond expectations to achieve goals.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-starter who can quickly learn on the job and work under tight deadlines.
• College degree preferred but not required.
• Must live within the assigned geographic sales area.

Salary:

• Min Hiring Rate: $50,000
• Max Hiring Rate: $60,000
